Learn to Play Pickleball

Ready to join the movement—the pickleball movement, that is?  Here’s your chance!  Residents ages 10 and older can find out what all the excitement is about by joining The Summerlin Council for its “Pickleball 101” classes or “Intermediate Pickleball” clinics.

Classes and clinics will be held at the Willows Park basketball court.  Pickleball 101 classes are $20 per student, per class and intermediate clinics are $100 for a four-week session.  Click the button below for available dates and times.  Space is limited and registration for September begins August 31 at 10 a.m.  New classes will become available at the end of each month.

A valid Summerlin I.D. card is required for each resident to register online.  Resident ID Cards are issued Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States and combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong using a paddle and plastic ball.  It is a game that is appropriate for players of all ages and skill levels.

Paddles and balls will be provided or feel free to bring your own equipment.  For more information, please call 702.341.5500 or email recreation@summerlincouncil.com.  Now is your chance to join the game!
