Star Wars™ – Space Adventure Camp (5 – 12 year olds)
Inspired by NASA and Star Wars™, our Space Adventures Camp is packed full of models that will make your imagination blast off! Each day, campers will learn about real-life space exploration and build models related to the NASA space program. In addition, the day includes LEGO® Star Wars™ themed models, video games, group games, challenges and more. Bricks 4 Kidz Space Adventure camp provides the spark for imagination and creativity to take off on an adventure that’s out of this world! This year’s camp has a special new twist, many new and exciting Star Wars™ Models will be introduced and built and the campers will be able to purchase the models to take home if desired. On Friday, Bricks 4 Kidz will provide a pizza party for all campers. (Swimming will take place each day so make sure to bring a swimsuit and sunscreen.) Challenge Island Camp (6 – 12 year olds)
Challenge Island is a child-driven journey that gives students the opportunity to be creative and carve their own paths. A well-laid foundation and a few basic materials become the foundation for higher level thinking, problem solving and endless creative potential. Each of our hundreds of Challenge Island challenges appeals to children’s natural curiosity and sparks their inherent imagination. Every challenge has infinite solutions – you will never see two groups come up with exactly the same solution. Each day at camp the students will do multiple challenges. The science based program is loads of fun – the students will be learning tons, but not feel like they are in school. They will engage in creative-thinking tasks ranging from dreaming up roller coasters to inventing new ice cream flavors to building bridges over shark filled waters. Scientific problem solving principals are applied to each challenge. As the “tribes” (groups) work towards a solution, they have more fun than one can imagine. This unique camp will guarantee your children to not only have a fun filled week – they will be learning life skills that will benefit them in the future. Put on your custom made Ninjago™ Headband and come play and battle with all of the new LEGO® Ninjago™ characters and games. Prepare your Heroes for encounters with the intruder’s armies! In addition to playing with Ninjas & all the fun LEGO® board games, campers will be tapping into their imagination and build a spin top battle ring and challenge each other with custom Bricks 4 Kidz built spinners. Minecraft® Camp (6 – 12 year olds)
Minecraft® is a game about placing blocks to build anything you can imagine. But at night, the monsters come out, so make sure to build a shelter before that happens! Experience the world of Minecraft with LEGO® bricks in this summer camp that’s fun and educational. Campers will build specially designed Bricks 4 Kidz models featuring Minecraft® characters as well as learning new tricks and skills on the computer. Each day, students will face new challenges building models and crafting key elements from the popular Minecraft® game. If desired, the campers will be able to purchase the models to take home. Remote Control Mania (6 – 12 year olds)
Making it move is the name of the game at this exciting camp! Kids will love to see their creations in motion using LEGO® wireless remote controls. Each day, campers will use fascinating and challenging LEGO® components to create dynamic vehicles, inventions, machines and more. As they enjoy the fun of building, campers will understand the basic working principles of many ingenious devices that are part of our everyday lives. Campers will also learn how to magnify, diminish and redirect force to move objects at different speeds and in different directions. This camp is loads of fun and learning for budding builders. Ahoy Mate Pirate Camp (5 – 12 year olds)
Come play with all of the LEGO® board games and pirate characters, go on a treasure hunt and learn to talk like a pirate! Tap into your imagination and discover your creativity as you attempt to create anything related to pirates out of LEGO® Bricks. Join your mates in building a Bricks 4 Kidz motorized boat, optical spinner, fish and more! Challenges include pirate boat team building and talking parrot demo.
