Our Little Lions classes are a great way for children five to eight years of age to learn the ABCs of self-defense, gain anti-bullying skills and be introduced to the martial arts. Studies have shown that during pre-school and early elementary school years, children are building eight fundamental skills that are essential to their growth and development. These skills include focus, honor, teamwork, control, memory, balance, discipline, fitness, and coordination. The Little Lions program targets these skills, along with other disciplines of listening, respect and courtesy, through a comprehensive training system that is specifically designed to generate maximum results. Any child who completes this program may have a developmental edge in their early childhood which can make the transition into adolescence much easier.
