BLACK LION KUNG FU MARTIAL ARTS – ADVANCED
The Advanced Adult Kung Fu class meets on Fridays and is reserved for students who have achieved the rank of brown sash with black fringe or above, or have permission from the instructor to attend the advanced sessions. Students may be required to make physical contact with other students during training exercises.

DIODATICS CORE, FAT BURNING AND SCULPTING CLASSES
Increase your metabolism, burn more calories and fat, develop a strong, lean, sculpted body and learn how to safely and effectively weight train using the Diodatic System.

The Diodatics Group fitness classes combine light Diodatics weight training, core training, cardio, flexibility and balance training with a fusion of some yoga and Pilates moves.  The Diodatics apparatus is a new and improved patented kettlebell/dumbbell invented by the late Joseph Michael Diodati, a world class personal trainer and pioneer in the fitness industry and former Mr. America.

JAZZERCISE
Burn up to 600 calories in one fun, powerful, effective, 60-minute total body workout! Every Jazzercise group fitness class combines dance-based cardio with strength training and stretching to sculpt, tone and lengthen muscles for maximum fat burn.  Choreographed to today’s hottest music, Jazzercise is a fusion of jazz dance, resistance training, Pilates, yoga and kickboxing.  All fitness levels are welcome and you can start anytime as classes are ongoing.  Attend as many classes as you like each month! STRESS REDUCTION 101
Stressed out? Learn these natural healing methods and feel immediate results: specific breathing exercises, guided imagery meditation, relaxation techniques, self-applied acupressure and more. It increases blood pressure, causes insomnia and a host of other ailments. In just minutes a day, you can think more clearly and release stress from the body. Once you learn these stress reduction techniques you will use them the rest of your life!

HEALING SOUND WORKSHOP
Enjoy the hypnotically soothing sounds of Tibetan Bells and Crystal Bowls in concert. When the crystal bowls are played, each note resonates on specific chakras affecting organs and nerve plexus pertaining to those specific energy centers in the body. Music affects the limbic system in the brain, the emotional response center. Feel the sound waves of the Tibetan bells as gongs penetrate the mind and body inducing deep inner peace and well-being. Wear loose comfortable clothes, bring a blanket and relax at the ultimate level.

PILATES GROUP REFORMER CLASSES—“RE-FORM” YOUR BODY
Introduction to Pilates:
Begin your participation in our Pilates program here.  You will learn to operate your Balanced Body IQ Reformer safely, apply six basic principles of Pilates, learn the Pilates language and perform a group of beginning exercises that are the building blocks of effective Pilates workouts.  The class may be repeated until you feel comfortable moving on to the intermediate level.
Intermediate Pilates: This class expands your repertoire into a full body Pilates workout. Increase your vitality and strength and improve your flexibility, coordination, and balance.  Make this enjoyable workout an essential part of your weekly fitness maintenance.  The level of difficulty will be determined by the experience of the participants in each class.  (Prerequisite:  Introduction to Pilates)
Look your best, move more freely, and feel better. Each class is 55 minutes and held in a six-week session. Reserve your machine in the appropriate level class at the WillowsCommunity   Center.  Please arrive early to set up.  For more information, please call 240-6500.

*Upon enrollment in Pilates, you must call the Willows Community Center at 240-6500 to reserve a machine for your desired class.  Please note:  Machines are limited and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Should you need to reschedule, please do so 24 hours prior to the start of class to avoid being charged for that class. There is a two- person minimum and four-person maximum per class.

TAI CHI - SOFT MOUNTAIN BREEZE
Learn the short form style of an ancient Chinese exercise consisting of slow relaxed movements that provide physical exercise for the body, concentration for the mind, and meditation for the spirit.  Also learn CHI KUNG: Breathing for Vital Energy. Tai Chi improves overall fitness, balance, coordination and agility.  It has also been shown to lower blood pressure and heart rates, promote relaxation and release stress and tension.  Those who practice Tai Chi on a regular basis tend to have good posture, flexibility, improved range of motion and mental alertness, and sleep more soundly at night.
