BLACK LION MARTIAL ARTS -ADVANCED KUNG FU CLASS
The Adult Advanced Kung Fu class meets on Fridays and is reserved for students who have achieved the rank of brown sash with black fringe or above, or have permission from the instructor to attend the advanced sessions.

JAZZERCISE

Burn up to 600 calories in one fun, powerful, effective, 60-minute total body workout! Every Jazzercise group fitness class combines dance-based cardio with strength training and stretching to sculpt, tone and lengthen muscles for maximum fat burn.  Choreographed to today’s hottest music, Jazzercise is a fusion of jazz dance, resistance training, Pilates, yoga and kickboxing.  All fitness levels are welcome and you can start anytime as classes are ongoing.  Attend as many classes as you like each month! PILATES GROUP REFORMER CLASSES—“RE-FORM” YOUR BODY

Introduction to Pilates: Begin your participation in our Pilates program here.  You will learn to operate your Balanced Body IQ Reformer safely, apply six basic principles of Pilates, learn the Pilates language and perform a group of beginning exercises that are the building blocks of effective Pilates workouts.  The class may be repeated until you feel comfortable moving on to the intermediate level.  

Intermediate Pilates:

This class expands your repertoire into a full body Pilates workout. Increase your vitality and strength and improve your flexibility, coordination, and balance.  Make this enjoyable workout an essential part of your weekly fitness maintenance.  The level of difficulty will be determined by the experience of the participants in each class.  (Prerequisite:  Introduction to Pilates)

Look your best, move more freely, and feel better. Each class is 55 minutes and held in a six-week session. Reserve your machine in the appropriate level class at the Willows Community Center.  Please arrive early to set up.  For more information, please call 240-6500.

Punch Card Policies

  • You must be a member of the North, South or West Community Association to purchase a punch card
  • Upon purchase of a punch card, you must call the Willows Community Center at 240-6500 to reserve a machine.  Please note:  Machines are limited and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis for each class.  To help ensure that you receive a machine in your desired class, please make an equipment reservation early.  Should you need to cancel your reservation, please do so prior to the start of class.  No-shows and reservations cancelled after the start of class, will incur a deduction from the punch card. 
  • Punch cards are non-transferable and expire on the last day of class for each session (Session One ends July 6; Session Two ends August 17; Session 3 ends September 28)
  • Punch cards are renewable within each session
  • There will be no refunds for unused punches
  • Each class participant must purchase their own individual punch card

    TAI CHI - SOFT MOUNTAIN BREEZE

    Learn the short form style of an ancient Chinese exercise consisting of slow relaxed movements that provide physical exercise for the body, concentration for the mind, and meditation for the spirit.  Also learn CHI KUNG: Breathing for Vital Energy. Tai Chi improves overall fitness, balance, coordination and agility.  It has also been shown to lower blood pressure and heart rates, promote relaxation and release stress and tension.  Those who practice Tai Chi on a regular basis tend to have good posture, flexibility, improved range of motion and mental alertness, and sleep more soundly at night.
