Summer is here again and so is the Las Vegas Farmers Market co-sponsored by The Summerlin Council. Markets are held every Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Gardens Park. Farmers are now in full swing offering local favorites like tomatoes, herbs, and carrots available for purchase. Many regional items are also appearing weekly such as fresh strawberries, squash, cabbage, greens, stone fruits, melons and corn.
The Las Vegas Farmers Market is a festival type market and features home grown produce, local entertainment, and festive foods. Come enjoy your favorites and discover new foods weekly. The Las Vegas Farmers Market also offers opportunities to local entrepreneurs who are interested in opening a business of their own at a very minimal expense. Growers, gardeners, artists, crafters and culinary artists are all invited to participate as vendors. All items are juried for quality and compatibility.
