Residents are invited to show their colors at the Summerlin Patriotic Parade taking place Friday, July 4. This time honored tradition allows friends, family and neighbors to gather for a good old-fashioned hometown parade right here in the streets of Summerlin! The parade begins at 9 a.m. and travels along flag-lined streets from Hillpointe and Hills Center, then south on Hills Center concluding on Trailwood Drive. Join us for a FREE open to all prospective float builders and parade participants. This presentation will help you learn float building techniques, creative ways to participate as a walking group and overall tips on creating a dynamic parade entry. All those interested in participating in the 2008 parade are encouraged to attend! Call 341-5500 by Tuesday, April 15, to reserve a seat.

All parade applications must be received in-house by The Summerlin Council, 1910 Spring Gate Lane, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89134. by Friday, May 16 at 5 p.m. Postmarks do not count towards the deadline.
